lauren and i are definitely on for vegas in july. she asked her uncle if she could have another plane ticket as an early christmas present, and he said sure. when my mom heard that, she said she'd cover the entire cost of the hotel room and give me some spending money for my birthday, since that would still come out to be cheaper than buying my plane ticket like she had offered originally. of course, she says we can't stay in like the super high rollers penthouse or anything--haha--we were just looking at cheap standard rooms at the excalibur anyway. :)

now laur and her aunt are trying to figure out the flight issues. heopfully a layover in chicago can be avoided. i'm leaving it in their capable hands.
