i promised jorn i would bring him back a surprise from chicago. on friday i found the perfect surprise, didn't recognize it as such, and didn't buy it. later that night i thought it over and realized i needed to purchase this item, but when i went back on saturday it wasn't there. i was very, very disappointed. but all is good, because i found it on amazon and ordered it right now! so jorn will get his chicago surprise, just a few weeks late.
(and i had to get the free shipping, right? i only needed an extra $14.50 to get the free shipping. so i got The Usual Suspects on dvd. it would've been the Amelie soundtrack but that left me 50 cents short, grr. so--is it ridiculous to spend $14.50 to save $5? i think not. i would've gotten it at some point anyway.)
