things are good. if my whole summer goes along just like this week is going, i will be such a happy girl. here's what i do: i work 20 hours/week with dr. langenfeld, doing copyediting and other useful publishing-type stuff. the editing has thus far all been take-home work. this week i'm working two nights at the HLC and also on saturday. thus, i have work that i'm doing, and i'm busy, but i also have lots and lots of free time. i'm reading a fantasy trilogy by tad williams, i went to the gym this morning, and stuff is good. good stuff. i hope my summer stays like this indefinitely. i'm trying to figure out how i can make my life be like this after graduation next year--how i could possibly get away with working from home like 30 hours a week. i could freelance edit, or freelance write for that matter, but it takes *so much effort* to make connections and get enough work to stay afloat. don't know if i could do that. if anyone has any ideas, let me know.
