Date: 2004-04-26 02:14 pm (UTC)From:I volunteered two years in a row there, and even with having to work a couple hours a day, there was so much fun stuff going on, and there's a dancing tent and a workshop tent where the mainstage performers get together and play around with each other.... Plus, there's a drum circle one night after the shows are over, and people bring their instruments and just enjoy each other's music...
Oh, it's fun. I think if you go with other people who have camped before, they can get you through the possible scary parts of camping. But really, I never liked camping, and I had a hell of a lot of fun. Just a warning, though... the two years I was there, it was DAMN HOT all day long, and DAMN COLD all night long. So be prepared for the possibility of insane weather changes.
*sigh* I wish I could go there this year... Maybe I'll check it out and see if I can manage it. Camping with a baby, though... hmmmm...
You'll have fun if you go!!!! FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!
