nintendo just announced that they've been secretly working on a new zelda game for gamecube, where link is a grownup. ign.com has screenshots, and it looks so freakin' cool. *jumps up and down*

I never really thought of myself as a "gamer" until recently, because I don't like Shooting Things Games or Sports Games. But I started thinking about it, and there's lots and LOTS of questing adventure games, and I kick ass at them (and spent my saturday nights in high school kicking ass at them). And I make icons about them. So yeah, I am a GamerGrrl. :) My boyfriend and I are always fighting over whose turn it is or getting mad because one of us got to a certain level and gave away the answer to the puzzle before the other one had a chance to solve it on her own. I can't wait to get my GameCube because it will provide Hours of Fun and Entertainment and Bitching. Hee.

I play racing games (Mario Kart is my friend), fighting games (hello, Soul Caliber 2), puzzle games (my roommate and I were addicted to Dr. Mario), and games that involve either Ninja Turtles or Buffy. I like watching other people play strategy/adventure games.

I can't wait to get my GameCube because it will provide Hours of Fun and Entertainment and Bitching. Hee.

My boyfriend has what he calls “the triple crown”--PS2, GameCube, and XBox. The XBox lives at my house. : )

i'm *awful* at Racing Games--we were playing MarioKart the other night and i sucked. (of course, "the other night" did happen to be saturday, when my driving abilities were a bit impaired...) i rock at Dr. Mario and can proudly kick jorn's ass, while he tromps me at Tetris. i'm not so good at Fighting Games, though, being more of a button masher myself.

so have you played Chaos Bleeds? that's the latest Buffy game, right? I'm interested in getting it (once i get a GC--it's available for all three systems, i think) and I'd value your opinion. :)

My pride: The first time I played Street Fighter 2, I whooped up on the older boys I was playing against. Button mashing does have some advantages.

so have you played Chaos Bleeds?

We've got it on the XBox and it's sweet. The controls are a bit better than on the first Buffy game, but I'm completely lame so I mostly watch Nick play it. We haven't finished it yet, but we're pretty close to the end.

Also--Willow is a total badass.
