i saw King Arthur last night. my first reaction: THEY KILLED LANCELOT OMGWTF!!!1!@!. otherwise, i was pretty satisfied with it. the actors were all much more smolderingly hot than i expected--even, like, Bors was sort of hot. although, Tristan, cut your fucking hair, seriously. Gawain was my favorite (*pets pretty hair*) but it was a yummy movie all the way around. and keira, as anticipated, rocks my ever-loving world. gah.

so yesterday, i did my shift at Otis house, and then since i was downtown anyway i walked up to downtown crossing to do some shopping before the stores closed. i hit the shoe store where i'd seen the kangaroos before, but they didn't have the green ones in my size anymore. in fat, they didn't even have the pink ones in my size, just the uglyish white ones. so i was sad and bought no sneakers. i also looked for them at Macy's, Filene's (upstairs), and Footaction, and no roos were found. then i tried DSW for Tevas but i guess they sold out because i couldn't find them, not even in the clearance section. just a lot of ugly overpriced pumps. meh. next i went to Filene's Basement, where the real shopping commenced. i got socks, a new beige bra that actually fits, and a cute new purse that was only $9.99. then i remembered that it's my mom's birthday next week and i hadn't gotten her much of anything yet--no prob. i found her three cool things in the gift section in the next ten minutes. mom shopping = done. i may also get her a blockbuster gift card or something too, since i know they rent a lot of movies. after shopping i hit finagle for dinner, and then saw the movie, and got home around 10. hung out with dann a bit (reading on the couch while he watched a "White Men Talk About Politics" show) before bed.

today it's raining. yuck. i really did think boston would be pretty in the summer, but it's never "summer" for longer than an afternoon at a time. most of the time the weather just sucks here: it sucked all winter, and now it's sucking all summer. when it's nice i love it but it's hardly ever nice.

not much else going on. except i miss jorn. and my room's a mess. but either tonight or tomorrow (tomorrow would be better for me, but tonight would be better for amy, so i don't know) i'm going over to amy's to... i forget. look at her cds, i think, because she's getting rid of a bunch. and maybe take her old headboard. i should maybe measure the bed frame so i'll know if it'll fit. *needs to call amy*

I liked it better than I thought I would. Yes, "smolderingly hot," and Gawain was my favorite, too...

but it was always in his face! didn't you just want to grab his sword and hack a little of it off so he could see?

i was really sad that he died, though. i liked him a lot.
