Buffy dvds shipped!

i just got the amazon notification that my Buffy dvds shipped. soon, oh, soon i will be the proud owner of all six seasons of Buffy that have been released. i can't freaking wait. besides which, i have a bet going with jorn that i need to win (on a question i'm sure several of you can answer, but i'll just wait until i have the dvds in hand to prove him wrong).

after Buffy, it's Angel season one, Firefly, the Indiana Jones trilogy, the Back to the Future trilogy, and a new computer. not necessarily in that order. **edit** and the Conan movies. there's a special edition of both movies together, and i wants it. there's just something about Conan that gets me right there, you know?

all in all, i enjoy getting paid.

oh, and happy birthday to my mom! not that she'll read this, but i still thought i'd give the shout-out. yeah.

Indiana Jones movies rocked...though the extras...not so much. Not to much new that I hadn't seen or heard before. Well, except seeing Harrison actually stapling the fedora to his head to keep it on.

Oh, I'm probably wrong. But my memory is telling me that a certain episode is not the episode where we met a certain character, while rox claims that it is. She's really the one that would remember such things. *shrug*

any time i make a purchase that is supposed to arrive "soon" i anxiously await the mail truck and then fall into such disapointment when it doesn't arrive. i have a question! how do you get packages when you only have a small mail slot?

the mail carrier just sets them on the ground or on top of the mail box, and someone eventually carries it inside. not the best system, but it works okay.

at my last apartment i was lucky enough to live on the first floor so the mail man always knocked on the door and one of us was usually home so it worked out nicely!
