a momentous occasion

I would like to say that I just mailed my credit card company a check that pays off my entire balance. yaaaaaaaay! Of course, that doesn't count the money I just dropped on Buffy dvds last week, but that's a paltry sum compared with the check I just mailed. I have rejoined the land of people who pay off their credit card balances every month (not to be confused with the land without shrimp). I am very, very happy.

I was there for a while, but then I needed to buy my own computer and everything went downhill... Eventually, I plan to be there again.

Thanks! Computer is the next thing on the list, right after a ridiculously frivolous amount of dvds just because I can. I think I'm allowed, though--I was charging my car insurance when I was in grad school, not to mention everything else, and it's taken me over a year to climb out of that. You'll get back out of it too.
