How do my weekends fill up so fast? I don't even have a new day planner for September yet (my current one is an academic year planner), but already my September is filling up.
Friday August 20: Harvard LotR night at the Museum of Science (still have one more ticket, actually, if anyone else wants to go with us)
Saturday August 21: Either helping
allthefishies move, or hanging with Sarah and Steve for the day (which is looking likelier at the moment, since Fishies swears she really just needed me for the painting, and Sarah and Steve will be here anyway)
Sunday August 22: working at Otis
Saturday August 28: working at Otis
(nothing else yet for that weekend)
Friday September 3 - Monday September 6: Fly to Philly to spend Labor Day weekend with the mom
Saturday September 11: Bey, are you still doing a Firefly marathon at your place?
(nothing else for that weekend yet)
Saturday September 18 - Sunday September 19: Boston Folk Festival (which I'm psyched about, but I don't know if I'll go both days or just one. Dar Williams is headlining Saturday, but Sunday's lineup also sounds good. Anyone else planning on going to this?)
Saturday September 25: girly sleepover night
(no other big plans yet, but I may need to schedule myself at Otis for that weekend, since the rest of September is filling up)
Even October is already looking busy, since Jorn and I will be traveling Columbus Day weekend to go to a wedding of a friend of his. And Amy has invited Sarah B and I out to visit her in CO, which I may take a day or two off to go do. I've never been to Denver. Probably end of October, but can't let that visit conflict with Halloween, since Farbs and Miles decided to have a party. *needs to work on costume...*

Date: 2004-08-17 10:00 am (UTC)From:And about moving - if you're around and would like to lend a hand - you, jorn, dann, the cheat, whatever, that would be cool and we would reward you with food and love and a lot of tom's parents. If you have the chance to do something cool, please go and do something cool cause you are cool!! :-)

Date: 2004-08-17 12:11 pm (UTC)From:About Saturday--when I originally planned out the weekend in my head, I knew Sarah & Steve would be coming in on Friday night but forgot about the Sarah & Steve living far away part and how they might want to stay for the weekend. Which was silly of me. So I think I may very apologetically bail on the moving help. I'll see what Jorn and Dann are up to, though.
A lot of Tom's parents? Now I'm picturing a whole crowd of middle-aged Tom-like people. Thank goodness just a lot of them are coming and not all of them, because that would really be overwhelming. :) :)

Date: 2004-08-18 09:38 am (UTC)From:Honestly, a whole crowd of middle aged tom-people makes me shiver a bit, partially because i have a good idea of what he will be like in middle age... and i'm willing to take that on - partially cause i know what i'm going to be like in middle age, too... :-)
On a related note, you wrote that check for waay too much... but thank you for dropping it by, that was really cool. I would love to make you guys a huge gigundimo dinner once we're a little more settled in the apartment. :-)
