gift-giving!

This is just going to be a quick post because I'm all excited, because Jorn and I exchanged Christmas presents tonight! We were so excited about the stuff we got for each other we couldn't wait anymore. Okay, so he got me the Garden State soundtrack, which I knew about, and also a vintage Voltron storybook and a Nelson cd (After the Rain), which is just hilarious. And he sneakily got me an Ursula K. LeGuin book that he saw me eyeing when we were shopping together in a bookstore. And the new bunny suit Anya action figure! Which I also knew about but had pretty much forgotten because it was so long ago. AND! The secret surprises were the most awesome ones. When we were shopping in Portsmouth, I got Dann a knitted hat with cat ears as a Hannukah present, and I totally wanted one but didn't buy one for myself, and later, when I was lamenting the fact and thinking about going back to get one, Jorn told me I shouldn't because it had looked kind of silly. And I completely believed him. Until now, when I found out he snuck back and got me a hat! It's black with pink inside the ears. And it's totally cute. And he got me mittens that look like tigers! They even have teeth! And the Sonic Mega Collection for PS2 ("So much Sonic, you'll shit your pants!!"). Which is awesome because he hates the Sonic games. See how much he loves me? And last but not least... he got me Pride & Prejudice: The Game. It's so freakin' crazy. You have to move Lizzie and Mr. Darcy and everyone around the board and the goal is to get them married. It looks like so much fun! I can't wait to take it home at Christmas and get Lauren to play it with me.

And he totally seemed excited about all the things I got for him, too. *My* favorite thing that I got him was the cd of 70's porn music, featuring Ron Jeremy. I asked him what his favorite is and he can't decide, but he says he's the most immediately excited about watching the first season of Invader Zim. :)

Now we're going to Target! Happyhappy!!
