I forgot to say, I got my car back last night! I was so happy. I *missed* my car. The loaner Mazda was perfectly fine, but I love my Rabbit. He's all fixed up now, and not dented or banged up anymore, and he's all shiny and clean and they even vaccuumed the inside. He's the bestest car ever, which I told him repeatedly while driving home last night.

Also, I am still very very pleased with how well my insurance company handled the situation, and with how well the body shop handled the situation. Everything that needed to get done was done, done well, done quickly, done without any fuss, and done without any unnecessary intervention or nagging on my part. Everyone did their jobs and did them well. It really sucked to have had an accident, but the insurance company and body shop made it bearable and made it as easy as possible. Nothing but praise from me.

Ah, the library. So many books. I am continually surprised every time I go there--I was surprised to discover the many regular fiction books, then surprised at the science fiction shelves, and then at the YA shelves. Like a kid in a candy store where all the candy's free. I can have as much candy as I want! And there are so many different and awesome kinds of candy to pig out on!

I can see this as being the start of gorging myself on YA fiction. I checked out this book (while noting that my library also has the sequel) and books 2 and 3 of the Artemis Fowl series. Although I may buy this one at some point, because it really was excellent. It makes me glad my daddy's not a necromancer. And I really liked the magic system of this world. It makes me really happy when the magic makes sense. I highly recommend this. Unless Dead stuff creeps you out.

I want to go get the sequel right now, but there are other things to read. Lots of other things. I am carrying around three books and a journal at the moment. I could read some of those. I probably will.

In other news, does anyone else have this year's BtVS calendar? Dawn's outfit in May is *horrible*. I can't believe I have to spend the entire rest of the month looking at that abomination.
