Dawn's Outfit / volunteering last night

Last night I did the volunteer thing at the historic library. I shelved books for an hour and a half. At least I'm getting better at it. Then I was supposed to start on a file-alphabetizing project that would have been fun, but it was the kind of project that once you start, you really need to finish in one sitting, and it was big enough that we didn't think I could finish in half an hour. Although I probably could have, I'm a super alphabetizer. So instead, I just checked to make sure the files were clearly labeled for future alphabetizing. So it was a really monotonous evening! And then after I left I was really hungry and needed dinner, but no place downtown is open for fast cheap food after 8pm. I could have had a nice sit down meal, but I wanted a freakin' sandwich. I ended up getting chicken nuggets and fries from Crown Fried Chicken, which was greasy, and I had to wait a really long time. Meh! But I had a good long chat with F on the way home on the train, and then I did dishes and got to bed at 10:45 instead of midnight, and I woke up with the radio this morning and actually got out of bed at 6:30 so I made the 8:11 train and didn't have to listen to Johnny Longbow Conductor go on and on and on and on and on. It was a peaceful quiet train ride. And today is Scrabble day.
I haven't seen last night's LOST yet, but I'm hopefully going to watch it tonight. With ice cream.
