Hey to any of y'all who are Harvard-affiliated (which I guess would just be allthefishies and tisana, but all the rest of you can feel enlightened too, I guess): I just went over to the MAC and signed up for fall recreation classes and got the schedule. It's $30 for non-students for the semester, but only $50 for two semesters, so I went with both. Don't forget to go do this so you can go to classes and stuff. Tisana, Fishies and I are going to be doing the Monday evening Pilates if you want to join us. :)
I also picked up the schedule for the ballroom and latin dance classes. They appear to cost $50 per 8-week session, and you have to sign up with a partner. The brochure says you can have a non-MAC-member partner, but then it costs $65 for the session for that person. The brochure also says something about a discount if you take multiple classes or if you've paid the MAC general recreation class fees, but it doesn't seem totally clear to me. Tisana, if you still want to do a class, I'll do it with you--especially if a discount applies--so get over there and pick up the info. These classes don't start til October, and the registration is October 4. edit: Dude, I can fax you the brochure, want me to?
I'm also still sort of thinking about taking ballet at that studio in Harvard Square. Don't know if anyone else in interested in doing that with me. Though I've now missed the first few classes of the adult introductory session, so I might wait til spring. Meh.

Date: 2004-09-22 11:19 am (UTC)From:I was actually talking to my sweetie about dance classes--he'd really like to dance with me...sorry. If it's $30 for non-students, then $50 for a class...what is it for non-Harvard folks? It's gone up quite a bit since last year, wow. Do you happen to know the schedule? Email me at cheshirekatrina at yahoo, I'll send a fax number...thanks again!
