so chelsea went home. and i'm in the library between advising sessions, chatting with all y'all on a computer that is really annoying because all the type on the screen is appearing VERY LARGE, and i can't change it. arr, it's driving me nuts.

i advised this one really obnoxious lazy prick today. he had no conception of the facts that A) some classes have higher course numbers, and therefore are harder, than others, B) sometimes yes, you really do have to take the prerequisite, and C) if you want to graduate someday, there are certain courses that maybe you want to take. he was a transfer student who did his first year somewhere else, so he's all thinking he's the big shizz now that he's a sophomore. he actually used the word sophomore in this context, as in, "now that i'm a sophomore..." and "yep, i'm a sophomore now." he set up a schedule of five classes for the fall, four of which are electives and one of which will actually fill one of his gen ed requirements. the only reason he signed up for that one is because i don't think he noticed it fulfills something. and when i tried to explain the requirement system, he phased out, because he knows everything already. but if he doesn't want to listen to me, that's his own problem, and he can dig himself out of the shizz he'll be in senior year, and i don't care if he curses me then, because he's the ass and i won't be around to hear it anyway. get over yourself, pricky, and welcome to the real world.

in other news, things are good. i'm kind of busy, but that's okay. i've been all excited because i'm getting paid at the end of this week, and i haven't gotten paid since april 30 (by UNCG anyway, which are the paychecks that pay the rent), but then i realized that this is the only serious paycheck i can count on until september 30. blandwood and the HLC are still paying me, of course, but those checks are $50-$100. not the $700 chunk i'm used to getting at the end of every month. so i'm worried, because i'm going to be tempted to throw shizz on my mastercard, and i don't want any more debt on there. plus i'm going to teh beach this weekend, and to vegas and on a roadtrip at the end of july. so hopefully a temp job will drop itself into my lap. if i stopped doing things like buying books and smoothies and pizza, i wouldn't have to worry so much. oh yeah, and buying birthday presents for jorn. but i can't help that, because it's his birthday. he needs presents. but i'm really going to buy only one more thing, and it's less than $10. seriously. unless i find something else he obviously needs.

no more sims--POEMS.
