supercheesegirl: (brock Yeeaaahhhh!!1!)
Yesterday was interesting. It was pouring teeming rain in the morning, but I still thought if I wore my cute dress sans tights I'd be fine. No, actually I froze my ass off. I was cold all day. By the end of the day it was at least sunny, and I decided that yoga clothes and flip flops would be preferable to the dress because then my legs would be a little warm. I forgot about how these flip flops live in my office because they give me blisters. One dinner and several band aids later, my feet were tired, cold, and scabby as I sat in my class. Otherwise, class was good, and we didn't even get to the part about the reading I didn't read yet so that was okay. I decided to put my cat shoes from the morning back on to get home, even though the cat shoes are black and don't match the yoga pants at all, because the cat shoes provide a modicum of warmth and create blisters in different places than the flipflops do. Also, it was dark, and I went straight home.

I was really tempted to just stay in last night, since I was pretty much ready for bed right after class, but Jorn prodded me and so I got dressed and met up with Kris and Darxus and Siren at Manray like I said I would. And I'm really glad I did. I love going there. We did have an interesting conversation, though, in which I found out that the person I've been thinking of as Danger Girl (Batts and I have been coming up with names for the regulars we spot) is quite possibly a Danger Guy. At first I was totally floored when Darxus suggested this, but after careful observation I realized he could be right. And Kris was pretty sure too. So good job, Danger Person, you had me fooled. (Although to my credit it's always dark in there, and Danger Person is slight and thin, and usually moving violently in a blur of long hair, tight pants, and spike heels, so it's tough to get a good read or even a close look.)

Today: yoga (and DON'T FORGET TO BUY YOUR T-PASS), and tonight, nothing. I should do homework but I'm thinking I will clip coupons and watch last night's shows and maybe some Angel, since it's been ages since the last time we watched any. Tomorrow night I think I'm staying in--I just ordered groceries, and Top Model's rerunning at 8pm. Maybe we'll catch a movie later. This weekend there's a movie Jorno wants to see at the Brattle, and Nosferatu is playing at the HFA on Saturday and Sunday nights. Yehy. I'm very much looking forward to sleeping in this weekend. Oh, and I'm getting an EE massage on Sunday!

Also: I really, really need to hit the Garment District this weekend. For Halloween costume stuff. Roomies, want to go with me? You also need Halloween costume stuff, if we are to make our Really Cool Group Costume arrive together properly. Sunday afternoon: who's free?

-Hey, you ever coming to Diesel Tuesday again? I have felt your absence keenly.

Yes, someday. :) I don't know, I still feel like I only know a few people there and would feel weird if those few people didn't go. I'll still try to make it again sometime, though.

I almost ended up at Manray last night. We could have done that "Hello, hello, I didn't expect to see you here!!" thing. Nuts.
