Weekend: Angel / Anatomy of Hell / A Dirty Shame / Garment District / Lost

Watched Angel through the end of disc 3 last night. ARGH! So cruel. So mean. So bad. I hate the writers, hate them hate them hate them. "Awakening" was **horrible**. Hatehatehate. Angstiness is one thing, but this was just so tough. Sigh.

Um. What else? Friday night saw Anatomy of Hell (which is in French) with Jorn and two of his friends from work. After hours of deliberation, I decided that I liked it, but it was a very weird movie. I don't think I'd see it again. You'd think any movie that starts off with a blow job would be pretty sexy, but this was almost not sexy at all. Weird. Saturday night I saw A Dirty Shame, which was just awesome. I want the soundtrack so bad.

Sunday we went shopping at the Garment District. I got my whole Halloween costume, and Jorn and Dann did too. I just need to pick up some shoes from my mom's house, which I'll do this weekend. Spent way too much money, but I'll be wearing that tiara at least for weeks and weeks. Expect to see me tiara'ed from now on. Dyl, I'll help you shop for yours (costume, not tiara) sometime, whenever you get some free shopping-available time.

I watched the pilot for Lost this weekend, too (they reran the two-hour premiere on Saturday night, and we taped it and watched it Sunday morning). I like it a lot. But without getting too far into detail (you really don't want to hear this rant), I'm going to continue taping Top Model on Wednesday nights for immediate watching, and I'm going to ask my mom to tape Lost for me every week, since she'll be watching it anyway, and then mail me the tapes. So I won't be at the forefront of any discussions on it, but I will be trying to keep up. Top Model just has to take priority for Wednesdays, since I found out this week that my UPN can't be counted on to rerun the episode when it says it will because SPORTS are more important. Grr.

I did do other things this weekend besides just watch things. Just thought I'd let you know.

You should've heard me ranting and raving. painkiller had to calm me down. I mean, the Red Sox are great and all, but don't say on the website that you're going to show Top Model when you're not. Hmmph.

We liked Lost a lot, too. I'm actually starting to look forward to watching it; I've not looked forward to a currently running show (other than The Daily Show, which is just a different breed) since Buffy & Firefly were taken from me.

I *really* wish it was on on a different night. Or at a different time on the same night. If I could tape it and watch Top Model, I wouldn't care, but having to tape both at once... I want to watch it every week, too, but I just don't know if that'll happen. Dom Monaghan, though, yum.

Angel is SO ANGSTY. That's why I never got as in to it as I got in to Buffy. I mean... Buffy is ANGSTY..... but Angel is ANGSTY AS ALL HELL!!!

the director of "A Dirty Shame"s (errr fucking punctuation) sister goes to the church I used to go to. I babysat her kids fairly regularly and her husband built the deck on our old house. Exciting, eh?

And the pictures for your new icons or awesome. I just got a new camera and feel like taking lots of pictures of me with it. I'M SUCH A CAMERA HO.

I WANT MY OWN DIGITAL CAMERA SO BAD! Mostly because then I won't have to bug Dann (and make him knock over his water glass) every time I put on a stupid outfit and want my picture taken. And then he wouldn't have to *see* said pictures as he's uploading them for me, which would be good because then I could be naughtier. But a digital camera would laugh hysterically if I even put it in the same room as my poor old computer, so I'm just waiting til I get some cash saved up for a new one.
