For some reason, I've been wanting an icon of myself in a mask for a while. I tried doing that portrait maker on illustmaker.abi-station.com, but they don't have a mask that you can put on the person (at least, not that I could find). Then I tried finding pictures of masks, editing out the eyeholes, and photoshopping them onto my face, but the results were sort of terrifying (I'll post one of them later). I ended up just buying a mask and having Jorn take my picture in it. This icon is what I've done with the pictures so far. I wasn't totally thrilled with any of them because ideally I would like the mask to cover more of my face (also, I was tilting my head down in all the pictures, creating an attractive multi-chin effect). So I'll still be working on this, hopefully getting a new larger mask (with feathers maybe). But I liked this enough to start using it.

(And all this was the cause of poor Dann's water spilling consternation last night. Sorry, hon.)
