Wow, there's a lot of crazy stuff going on over at [livejournal.com profile] nonuglygamers. I always miss the fun discussions because I'm never online at midnight. Meh. But just going back and reading the stuff, I love these people more and more. So freakin' hilarious.

In other news:

To Do:

- take car for inspection!!! pick car up when they call me and tell me it's ready
- get glasses fixed, go pick up replacement lenses when they arrive
- dentist appt: T 4:45
- hair appt: Th 5:30
- pick up coat from dry cleaner on Th!
- buy cards for various people just two more people (go to Hidden Sweets!); send cards
- go to the post office on Saturday to mail stuff and get stamps

I got a lot of errands done this week! Doesn't it do your little heart good to see all that stuff crossed out? I know it does for me.

More To Do:

- paint nails for Saturday; shave legs etc.
- pay bills
- sewing: do a bunch of stuff; dylan's pants pocket, patches on patchy jeans & comfy black pants
- embark on project
- read for class next week
- ask Dylan what the status is on his halloween costume and help if possible--I'm pretty much free on Saturday for last-minute planning
- rent many movies with Blockbuster discount card before 10/31
- watch aforementioned movies
- watch Red Sonja!
- do laundry again

Now I'm going to go sign up for benefits for next year so I can add that to the list and then cross it off.

Communities where members get to vote on who gets to join after them are GAY!

I remember when Jorn was agonizing, I means seriously agonizing, over his application to The Fuck You Crew community. Now, he's not even a member of the community anymore; they changed the name and started all over. Drama fucks everything up.

Those types of communities get really old really fast. But I sometimes read posts where shit flares up because I like laughing @ other people behind their backs. Which is what I'm doing right now in NUG.

But still - community drama is GAY
GAY BEYOND GAY
GAY SQUARED
GAY CUBED
GAY FACTORIAL

It's actually a really fun community most of the time. And even the drama is kind of fun. That one guy is all OMG YOU ARE SUCH NERDS!, and everybody's like, what community did you think you were applying to? I've met some cool people over there.

I'm sure they're are plenty of cool people there; they accepted you so they must be cool. Some people just don't know how to handle rejection - those people amuse me.

Nobody's going to get Yeses across the board, and various people are going to have different reasons for saying no. It's one thing to ask, hey why did you say no, but the people who argue over the nos are just ridiculous. I think you should apply, you could be the real gamer grandpa (currently I think gamer grandpa is [livejournal.com profile] igorxa and he's my age). But if you do you should wait a few days because we're getting a new application that's going to be way better.
