supercheesegirl: (michelle trachtenberg - terrible mess)
I'm such a dope--I didn't get to go to yoga yesterday because I had the day off for Veterans Day, so I had planned on going today to the 12:15 class. What I neglected to consider was that 12:15 arrives a whole hour earlier than 1:15, the usual TTH yoga time, arrives. So I'm twiddling thumbs and realize all of a sudden that it's 12:00! And there's no way I can make it all the way to the gym and get changed in time for class. So no yoga for Rox today. I hate it when I do that. I was saying that I want to start going to yoga more than twice a week, and in the past two weeks I've made it exactly twice. Not near enough to be doing anything useful. I need the karate guy from UHF to come tell me how stupid I am. Meh.

In other news, I have no idea how my schedule has gotten so busy or when it's going to *stop* being so busy. If we don't count Monday pilates classes (which I am actually going to next week) and dentist appointments, I have exactly three free nights between now and Thanksgiving. If we do count pilates classes and dentist appointments, then I have zero free nights between now and Thanksgiving. I don't even have time to take poor Dann to Target, and that'll only take like 20 minutes. (Maybe Sunday night after we get back from the trip, or Monday after pilates or Tuesday after my dentist appointment?)

Movies I want to see (so I don't forget in all the insanity):

- The Incredibles (opened 11/5, Loew's passes good after 11/15)
- Finding Neverland (opens 11/12, passes good after 11/22, but why doesn't Fandango think anywhere is playing it near me??)
- National Treasure (opens 11/19, passes good after 11/29)
- Alexander (opens 11/24, passes good after 12/4)

I'm way too busy, too. I was taking dance and singing in a choir. I quit dance and stayed with choir through July. Now I don't have anything "scheduled" every week and I've made a rule that I won't make social plans more than once during the work week. Even with all this I still always feel busy. There's just so much to do at home, bills, cleaning, taking care of pets, etc. I just need more time in general!

My only big weekly thing is my Wednesday night class, but it takes up the whole evening--the classroom is only two blocks from my office, so it's silly to go home after work, but class doesn't start until 7:35 so I have dinner out before class and then don't get home until 10:00. And then there's yoga twice a week, and trying to save my Tuesdays to get homework done for Wednesday. And somehow there's been something every single Monday night since September, so I haven't been to a single pilates class at all. I just don't know how it happens...

Hm. I suppose now is not the time to call a house meeting to bitch about the cleanliness of our apartment.

If you can find ten minutes when all of us are actually in the apartment at the same time, go for it. Maybe after work today, I don't have plans for tonight til a bit later. Or Tuesday night. But Jorn and I will be away all weekend.

I know what you mean, though, about the lack of cleanliness. The tub is seriously gross, the bathroom needs cleaning, and the kitchen is messy (although the stuff in the DW is clean I think, but that stuff and the stuff in the drying rack needs to be put away). Especially this week, when I have been home I've just wanted to sit down and/or get homework done. I can do some kitchen duty tonight, though.

We've all just lost it. Seriously. Nobody's been doing much of anything. @ least now I know it's not just me.

It's totally not just you. Dyl's busy as always, I'm busier than usual. Jorn sort of feels like dishes etc shouldn't be his problem, since he rarely eats at home. I can understand that, but I feel like at least the dish-putting-away should be a household task no matter who originally used the dish. That's how I treat it, anyway. And we all use the bathroom, so there's no excuses there. It's just... ew.

*scratches head*

What does Jorn eat his cereal from? His hand?

*confused*

He doesn't eat cereal at home, at least not during the week. He keeps a box at work because he gets free milk there. Yeah, that confused me too at first. :)

OK, fair enough. I'm done discussing it here, though.

I apparently also want to see The Incredibles.

Oh, have you been told that? :)

Perhaps we should cutely double date.

Well, I realized it when I guessed (correctly) that you and [livejournal.com profile] nchanter were talking about going, and noticed I felt jealous. So, yeah.
