So I was doing some shopping on Build-a-Bear's website (just *browsing*, not shopping for anyone in *particular*), and I found this. It's kind of terrifying. Little Mormon bears? Dood.

In other news, I am finally caught up with Top Model. Jorn got the download of episode 8 to work, and then Dylan got it to run on his computer (we're not sure why it wouldn't on Jorn's). And then the taping of last night's ep went just fine, so I watched both. I'm so pissed off, they eliminated two of my favorite girls. Toccara is... just so awesome. And she's gone! And I really liked Nicole, too, but I see their point about her not being noticeable. Two different times in the same ep, they overlooked her. I feel like we never really got to know Nicole, which I guess is the point they were making, but I would've kept her over Yaya last night. I used to really like Yaya, but after that snitty behavior she's really getting on my nerves. I still like Norelle, but I think she's going to be the Shandi of this season--cute and awkward, talented, but at the end just not having enough confidence to shine through. Anne is really making quite a comeback, but I wish they would eliminate her already. I don't know why they keep liking her when she takes such awful pictures. Gah. She's had maybe two good pics ever on the whole show, and Toccara and Nicole always had consistently good pictures. I know pictures aren't the only thing they look at, but still. Pissing me off, yo.

I haven't felt like posting much lately. Don't know why. Last night I took my Inca midterm and I think I did well--now I don't have to worry about reading for class til after Thanksgiving, which will be a nice break. W00t. This weekend, taking the bus out to nyc to visit Missi; Coll and Laur and Rose are driving up to meet me there. No shitty Broadway shows this year, thankfully, Laur's too broke and because of my teeth, so am I. I think it'll be a good weekend, though--we'll do a museum or two, then maybe play trivial pursuit or something and watch a movie. Missi makes great mudslides. And hopefully no one will mention politics. I'm going to bring Amelie, because it's a freakin' problem that these girls haven't seen it yet. Ok, off to yoga.

is it terrible that i think it would be funny to get a mormon bear then take pictures of it, i dunno. drinking coffee, smoking, drinking booze, getting a door slammed in its face, committing lewd acts with "slut bear"...or even funnier, another mormon bear?

as if we needed any more proof that i'm going to hell!! but i'm bringing margaritas! who's bringing chips and salsa?!

Actually, if I have to go with missionary, I'd prefer no clothes, myself...;) (you knew someone would go there, right?)

It is freaky. But if you think about it, they're trying to cover lots of occupations and hobbies to have something for most everyone--is it really all that much stranger than dressing up a teddy bear as a soldier, who is trained to kill? (which, incidentally, I did--Morgan gave me a BAB cat, which I dressed in camo and boots--even came with dogtags--to remind me more of my soldierboy)

That's a really good point. But I do think that there's a slightly wider market for soldier bears than there is for missionary bears (at least, the clothed kind).

I love Build-A-Bear. Um, seriously. I have like 7 of them. ahahahahaha! Only, you know, I had mine made in the store. A few years ago I went to visit my friend in NH and we drove to Boston. I thought there was a B-A-B in Boston and I wanted to take her but apparently it hadn't opened yet or something. Or maybe we couldn't go to it because the explative shops back East aren't open at a decent hour on Sundays. (The heathens in the West shop during church hours. But still you can't buy a car or buy liquor on Sundays because you know buying a car is sinful!)

There's actually not a BAB store *in* Boston. There's one in Peabody, apparently, but not in Boston. This is very frustrating to certain koalas that live with me who want to go shopping. This is why we do our BAB clothes shopping online.

Yes, I want to be friends. I have lots of fuzzy cute friends like you. They are not as lucky as you, though. They don't usually get taken out of the house except when I go on vacation I take one of them with me. But someone always sleeps with me. I don't think they mind being a little squished at night, do you?

Well, I don't get out *too* much. Sometimes Rox's friend Kris will have a sleepover, and Rox brings me to those because it's all the girls. And Rox and Jorn take me with them for special occasions. Rox usually sleeps with Bear--I don't think I have a picture of Bear! but he's really cool--but sometimes I snuggle down between Rox and Jorn, and it's all cozy there. We snuggle a lot on the couch, too, because Rox and Jorn always bring me out to watch TV. My favorites are Pokemon and Powerpuff Girls but I like Buffy and Top Model a lot too.

I like Powerpuff Girls because they're really strong and tough! But still really cute! Rox and Jorn won't watch it with me too often because afterwards I start flying around the house pretending to be a Powerpuff Girl and kicking everyone's butts. It's totally cute when I do it, I don't understand their problem.

I love Amelie. It's so so so good. And I'm excited about Audrey Tatou's new movie, A Very Long Engagement, even though it doesn't come out until December 22nd. GAH.

Amanda is still around, but she's getting on my nerves too. I hate that blonde hair (and I know it's not her fault, but I still hate it). And she's kind of wussy. But really, they're all getting on my nerves at this point.
