This was such an amazingly awesome weekend. After buying the gamecube on Friday, I spent the vast majority of the weekend on the couch playing it. And watching Jorn play it. And watching Dylan and Dann play Grand Theft Auto, which was one of Dyl's Friday sales purchases. In my defense, I did clean up my room a lot (still a lot more to go though) and I started a project. More on that later. But for the most part I concentrated on rescuing my kidnapped sister from Ganon. My mom called on Sunday night, right as I was about to fight the boss of the second temple, and I said, "This is awfully bad timing, Mom, I'm trying to save the world here." She understood because she played Windwaker too. (MY MOM played this game before me! How pathetic!)

So far I'm really liking this game. It feels really huge at the moment, like there's all this stuff to go do, but I like that about it. There's all these mysteries to figure out. And it seems like there are about a billion side quests, too, which since Majora's Mask I really like. And it is so cute. Seriously. There are not many things cuter than this game. Just when I think it can't get any cuter, a bunch of little leaf creatures show up and start singing and playing the violin. So cute. And I love the relationship between Link and his Grandma. I love Grandma. She makes delicious soup! So, where I'm at right now (for those who have played the game through and know about it), I just got all the spiritual stones (or pearls or whatev) (and believe me, I was so expecting to have to climb in Jabun's belly and I'm so glad that didn't happen), and now I'm supposed to cruise around and put them on certain islands. I want to go back to Windfall Island first before I finish this part, though, because I want to work on getting the de-luxx picto box and I feel like there's other stuff I haven't finished yet there. And I was watching Jorn play last night and he found some islands I haven't found yet and got some other stuff I don't have yet. *I* can carry 60 bombs and have a giant wallet, neither of which he's got yet, but I know he's going to catch up to me tonight when I'm not home. Yeeargh!

We also took a short break from playing Windwaker to go see The Incredibles. It was just awesome. If you haven't seen it yet you need to do it right now this second. It was the best movie I've seen all year. Just awesome. I loved it so much. And afterwards Jorn and I were so pumped up we came home and played Windwaker till 6:30AM...

I should get to work now. I haven't been here since Wednesday and I really don't have a clue what needs to get done. Meh.

I wish I was at home playing it right now. Jorn is totally ahead of me because he played all night last night, and of course I can't stand that. :)

dylan's been on GTA since I got home...looks like I might not get to play at all tonight. I'm very grumpy as a result.

Oh no! But I know you got to play after all, so I hope you're not grumpy anymore. Even if you did have to rush through the shower. *hug*
