well, i did play the sims last night, for a little over two hours, but then i went and read some poetry (The Best American Poetry anthology 1995--i figure i'll keep you updated with what i'm reading), and then i wrote for a while, even though i didn't think i'd get anything interesting down, i think i did. and this morning, i woke up thinking about that greek god conversation that jorn and i had the other night, and i discovered why the poem i'm thinking about makes sense. and i wrote a lot of good draft material (because it's the kind of poem that will need a lot of rewrites for it to be good, i can tell already). and then i went to the gym. so it's a good day so far.
