holiday cards: phase one complete

I finished writing out almost all of my holiday cards. The only ones I have left now are ones that I don't have addresses for (or need to dig up where they got to), ones that need to be bought (my godson), and ones that are going in packages. I bought two books of santa stamps for the holiday cards and used up every single stamp with none left over and no cards left over, so I have to date sent 40 cards. I like it when I get things done. The tree is up and decorated, the cards are sent. Now I still need to make the cookies, assemble the packages, go to the post office, and wrap all the other gifts. At least I'm making good progress.

I'm enjoying the holiday icon. The picture is from when my parents and I and Jorn and his mom and bro all went to Longwood Gardens two years ago. Makes me feel all festive.

Ooh. Go you for getting all that done.

I'm a little concerned I may have to cancel for tomorrow, because the class that was supposed to happen last week is happening tonight, which means I'll get home late and might not be able to bake (I was up too late last night to do so again tonight).

We'll see how late I get home, it might not be a problem. I'm looking forward to swapping baked goods and chatting. :)

If you can't bake, come anyway. There are other people not baking. Or you could hit a bakery and pass it off as your own, I won't tell. :)

I'm jealous. We have no tree up, no decorations, and the cards have been put on hold until I get the time to sit down and actually get my shit together. All we've got to acknowledge the existence of the holidays are the cards we've received set up on our landing (which now includes your card which arrived yesterday! THANK YOU!)

I have to bug you for an address or two, and then expect a card from us with some Anastasia photos! :-D

I can't imagine how busy it must be to be working, in a show, and dealing with an energetic baby! No wonder you're nuts. Not like you weren't before, but hey, at least now it's totally justified. :)
