Jorn and I just stayed up really late to finish watching Buffy season 7. I can't believe how sad I am. I mean, I'd seen the last episode, so I thought I'd be fine. But I'm so sad! It's really over now, I've seen it from start to finish and I have all the dvds and I just want to cry. I mean, I knew it was over a year and a half ago, but it wasn't *really* over if I hadn't seen it all, you know? I want to know what happens next, if they all move to Cleveland, if they find all the other new Slayers, where they go now that Sunnydale is a big hole in the ground, if Buffy decides to just live a normal life. I'm so incredibly sad. Now there's just one more season left of Angel for me to watch and then that's over too! And I know people are going to die on Angel and I'm not going to like it. I mean, I'll like the puppet thing but I won't like the dying. Oh so sad. I would be crying right now if I didn't have my contacts in and my eyes weren't so dry. I'll have to play the PS2 game again. And read more books. And there's the comic books. And all the commentary and special features. Sigh...

Angel Season 5 offers some hints as to what happens to the Scoobies during that year. it's nice.

I thought that might be true. I'm still sad today, though. Need to find a good fantasy novel to help me get over it.

Yeah, there is a wonderful episode of Angel season five called "Damage" that answers a lot of your questions. I had problems with season five (it is, after all, post-season two), but this episode was soo good.

I'm really looking forward to season 5 coming out on dvd. I think that the end of Angel might not be as sad for me since it's pissed me off so much along the way--but then, I didn't expect to get so sad about the end of Buffy either.

Yeah, and you totally shouldn'tve told me the title of the ep, because even though I tried to resist I still went and looked up the transcript and read it. I don't think I spoiled myself that much in terms of Angel plot points, though, and now I can happily picture Buffy in Italy. I'm imagining that the Watchers' Council owned a villa there or something and since most of the Council is dead Buffy gets to live there and just relax and recover and be. Maybe she's learning Italian. I like this mental picture. I am not, however, thinking about Willow and Kennedy in Brazil, because I don't really like Kennedy. Nyeh.

And there's the comic books.

-Heh. I gave Bey a copy of Fray for Xmas. She loves it for feeding her Whedon-addiction, but hates it for being a gateway drug to comics-crack . . .

Yeah, I feel like I could like Fray a lot. Have to look into it.

-Yes, join us. Resistance is futile. Soon, soon you will be reading Tales of the Slayer and An American Werewolf in Tibet . . .

I've read the first two volumes of Tales of the Slayers...

Yes, Fray is very good. They've introduced an entirely new concept and given it a nasty evil twist. Very nice.
Didn't I tell you, I read the whole thing at 3am the next night.

*mumble, mumble* crack pusher. ;)

"it wasn't *really* over if I hadnt' seen it"

That's exactly how I feel. I missed two eps in a row towards the end of S7. when it origonally aired. Not wanted to watch out of order I skipped the last few on purpose with the intention of getting recordings from a friend of my BF. That never happened and now that S7 out on DVD I'm reluctant to take the steps that will end it completely.

You're a brave girl.

If you want to come over, I'll watch them with you and we can mourn together. :)

*cuddles*

Just think.. there's all that Firefly to look forward to after Angel.

I know... Jorn is skeptical that it'll fill the void, but I'll have to try...

Trust me on this one. Firefly is the way to go because while I'll always have a very special place in my heart for Buffy, I think Firefly has potential to surpass Buffy and Angel in goodness. And while Firefly is no longer on the small screen- it's coming soon to a theater near you! <3
