We have hot water. Thank goodness. I got home after midnight last night and the water was hot when I went to wash my hands. This morning on my way out I ran into the landlord, who was sweeping the snow off our front steps. He had been out at 11:00 last night with the plumber fixing the water. As much as we bitch about our landlord, he really is taking pretty good care of us. Maybe we should get him a thank-you card.

I can't decide if I want to go to yoga today or not. I'm still hellishly sore from Tuesday's class--not as sore as I was yesterday, but my knee is definitely feeling weird. My lower back has stopped feeling weird, though, which is a Good Thing. I really don't feel like leaving my office today in the snow. I need to go to the library for the Kipster, and I need to stop by ITS to get myself a new print cartridge, and I need to pick up my mail from Kipster's office in Hauser, but I want to do none of those things in the snow. I think that I'm just going to be lazy today and stay inside in the warm. And then go home precisely at 5:00. And stay in all night and be snuggly with Jorno and maybe watch some Gerg Teh Bunnayz. Yes. An excellent plan.

I put this song on my mp3 cd from Jorn. I keep listening to it. I hope all Joy Division songs are this good. Jorn is tracking me down an album or two of theirs, so hopefully I'll find out soon. I also keep listening to the Tattle Tale song from But I'm A Cheerleader! because that song is so amazingly beautiful.

I think the Num Lock light on my keyboard is burning out. Is that even possible?

if you like joy division, you should see 24 hour party people. even if you wind up not liking them, watch this movie. it's hilarious.

also, i love that song.

Joy Divisions greatest hits album (name escapes me at the moment) is a pretty good overview. Other than that the album Close is great. The guy can't sing well, but I love his lyrics.

As for yoga... All that stretching usually helps me feel better when I'm sore.

haha, they have like 3 best of albums. but at least they're not New Order (though they're mostly new order), putting out a new best of comp every 3 or 4 years.

I was thinking of Substance. I think New Order named one of theirs that as well though.
