I started reading this book yesterday afternoon and finished it around 11:45pm last night. And I went to class in the middle. I know I'm not supposed to like books that cause a media sensation or whatever, but this was a genuinely good read: exciting story, lots of intrigue, plot twists, historical info, the works. A fast read and really fun.

Jorn insists that I can't possibly be reading every word. (It takes him weeks, sometimes months even, to read a book.) We argue about this all the time.

I loved it too! I want to check out some of his other books now too.

-Well, pseudo-historical info, according to those in the know.

Well, there was just enough fact, and I know just enough church history, to make the events of the book seem quite plausible, or at least fascinating. :)

I really -wanted- to like that book, I did. I just... didn't. But I had recently re-read FOUCAULT'S PENDULUM before picking up DAVINCI CODE, so maybe it just suffered in comparison. BTW, I'll drop those books off for you tonight!

I will be home all night! But between 8pm and 9pm I will be obsessively watching Lost! :)

Foucault's Pendulum? I don't know that one, who's it by?

Umberto Eco. It's a great read - all the secret plots and secret societies and Knights Templar and world domination you could ever want.
