I'll start with the crazy thing and move on to the awesome thing.

Thing #1: Rik Reinhardt is married. Dude, every time I get the freakin' SU alumni newspaper it provides me yet another mindfuck. Apparently her name is Kate and they live in California. (I know I haven't seen the guy in four years and haven't been intimate with him in five, but he's still sort of my most recent ex, you know? And I was just in Dublin last summer and just working on my Yeats project, both of which reminded me of him. And now I find out he's married. Does anyone else get squicky when they find out their exes are married?)

Thing #2: I just bought a new computer. **happy dance**

Yeah, he was in your year, phi sig, short skinny dude with long black hair and a beard and looked kind of like a monkey. He had the apartment above the sugar shack one year, I remember. Big hippie, talked about rainbow gatherings and stuff. I can't remember if he wanted to be a park ranger but that sounds like him. I never actually dated him when we were on campus, but we went on the english department Ireland trip my junior year and ended up having a fling.

Even though it squicks me out every time, I still can't help reading it, you know?

LOL! I remember him - he wrote a paper for me about the Rainbow Gatherings one year. I forget what class it was for.

I totally understand. My last alumni paper told me my ex is engaged to this other girl I kinda knew in school. Weird thing is I thought this girl was stuck up. Now they live in Florida and are going to get married and have lots of babies. (Incidently, this is part of the reason we broke up in the first place. I was a no go on the lots of babies thing.) Still, total mindfuck.
