Ayup. Heard that on NPR, I believe.

The thing is, it doesn't really surprise me in the least. We've already heard this before with the cigarette companies trying to appeal to kids and manipulating the addictive properties of their wares. We give the tobacco industry free reign to peddle an addictive product, and of course they're going to try and hook as many people as possible. The booze industry has been targeting specific groups for years with targeted ads. Hell, all industries do this in the normal course of business.

It seems different with the tobacco industry because we all know they're selling death. But it's just capitalism having its way with us again.
