Lessee. On Monday I know Jorn and I were supposed to meet Carly at the airport and hang out with her during her layover, but her flight got changed so that didn't happen. I think we just hung around at home and played nintendo instead. Tuesday I went to the Diesel social for the first time in ages. The chai was yummy and the company was excellent. Also found out that a passing acquaintance is the soon-to-be ex-husband of my co-worker. Weird. Wednesday morning, though, said co-worker and I had a good chat about how weird it is when work life and other life intersect, and also chatted about many other things.

Last night I met up with some excellent folks (Jorn, Bey, Sara(h), Susanna(!), and Heather) and I gave them my walking tour of Beacon Hill. They seemed to have a good time, and I definitely feel more confident about giving the tour now. Sara(h) and I made plans to do a book swap (and really do it this time), and Susanna and I decided that we need to hang out sometime soon. (BTW, she's moving back in with Garrett. WTF?) Then Jorn and Bey and I went out for dinner to a place Sara(h) recommended, Fig's on Charles Street. The pizza was yummy and the lemonade was awesome. It was an excellent dinner, and really nice to spend some extra time with Bey, too.

Today is Harvard's commencement. For me, this means large crowds of well-dressed people with cameras, blocking everywhere I want to go. It also means free lunch, though. Tonight I'm hoping to get over to nchanter's and help her clean for her party this weekend. I am wearing my green dress of extreme comfort for the occasion. Friday night I don't know what I'm doing--maybe Manray--and Saturday I want to get down to Pride and walk around at some point. I was thinking about volunteering and still haven't decided if I want to--it might be more fun just to go check it out. Saturday night is nchanter's party (yay) and Sunday Jorn and I are getting up early to go to a flea market with T&A. (That'd be Tom and Amy, not whatever you were thinking about. Pervert.) I'm so looking forward to that--T&A are some of my favorite people. :)

Oh, I watched that new Tim Minnear show, The Inside, last night. Hella creepy. But if she's this awesome profiler who works by instinct, how did she not pick up on the fact that the guy with the security cameras could just have easily been stalking those women? I mean, he was creepy when they talked to him about the case. The CSI people would have known right off there was something not right about that guy. Anyway, I'll probably watch it again.

We're one in the same.. T&A and T&A. Ah, yes, T&A.

...before we moved in together, i was at homegoods and was going to get those cutout letters for our fireplace with our initials. And i was carrying them around for a good half hour before my mom realized what they would have been. And i was still tempted to buy them. All about the T&A. ;-)

Thanks again for the tour! And I'm so glad you guys enjoyed Figs - I've never had their lemonade, so clearly I've been missing out.

The lemonade was, in fact, better than excellent. It was also pink. It could be that we were all just really thirsty after that long walk, but it really seemed perfect--not too sweet, not too tart--and it just hit the spot. :)

Susanna(!) is definitely the way to put it. How is that girl doing? Give her a poke in the side from the Ramsdells. That is, if she doesn't fall off the face of the earth before you get to see her again. :)

Well, we tentatively have dinner plans for next week, so if they don't fall through then I will poke her for you. :)

As far as the Inside goes, I think she's good at getting inside the victim's head, not necessarily the killer's. Like when she was in the last victim's house—she kind of took on that victim's personality to figure out what attracted the killer to that victim. I don't know—that's what I got from it.

That kind of makes sense. And she also got into the dead FBI chick (Alvarez?)'s head really well to figure out that she killed herself.
