This is a collection of her early short stories, including the first ones she ever published, and also "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas." My favorite in the collection was "Winter's King", just striking especially if you've read The Left Hand Of Darkness--I keep thinking about this story. Also really liked "April In Paris", but it could just be that the themes of loneliness were really meaningful to me at the time when I read it. I think Fisherman is a better collection of stories but this one has some absolute gems. I finished it on Friday afternoon but this is the first time I've been near a computer since then.
I need to pick up a copy of Rocannon's World, anyone got it?
