moving = happy

I would just like to say that the past two nights have been excellent nights for me. Tuesday night, I came home right after work, packed several boxes, then went out to meet the girls at Hong Kong. Had an excellent time. When I got home, Jorn and I were able to spend some time together, which was really good. Last night was also excellent: I came home early, hung out with Dann and relaxed until 7 or so when Jorn got home, and then we packed the car full of crap and drove over to our new place. We dragged all the boxes in (things like books, Buffy figures, and crafty stuff, the kinds of things that aren't exactly vital to daily life), and I brought paper towels and trash bags and hand soap for the bathroom, little things, and then we did our walkthrough of the apartment and wrote down any scuffs or cracks or other kinds of damage we noticed. Realized that the apartment really is in strikingly good shape. I squee'ed, kind of a lot. I'm just so excited to be moving into this pretty apartment with Jorn. It makes me really happy. And all the moving stuff is really going to get done, and I know I can count on Jorn to get a lot of it done this weekend while I'm away.

And this morning I deposited $750 into my checking account: birthday money, money Jorn owed me, and the security deposit from the current apartment. Yehy money!
