books 2005: Those Who Save Us, by Jenna Blum

This was an amazing book. It tells the story of Anna, a German girl in the 1940s, and of her daughter Trudy in the 1990s. It's about the things Anna had to do to survive and to save her daughter, and about her daughter's gradual discovery of those things fifty years later. It was really, really good.

hey Rox!!!! If you enjoyed that book, along similar subject matter and time jumping a really good book I just read was "Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer.
