today went so much better than i was expecting it to! my group meeting only lasted till 3:30, so i was able to go home, take out the recycling, and then leave early for work. i went to the bank and made my deposit, and i returned the dvd to blockbuster, and then i had lots of time left, so i went to the brand-new Ross Dress-for-Less that just opened on battleground ave about a block from the HLC. i was mostly just there to check it out, but they had some really cheap stuff, so i got... two new bras!!!1!!!1!!!! this is so exciting for me. i have maybe two really good, comfortable bras, two or three fancy bras that i don't usually wear (like the victoria's waterbra--that's for special occasions when i need to be bosomy), a few bras that are sort of comfortable, and a bunch that aren't really comfortable at all. so i needed some new ones, and i got two nice new ones for only $13. that's pretty cheap, especially since one is a calvin klein designer bra. i am so so excited.
and i had a good night at the HLC, topped off by the fact that i quit. i really, really quit. and thad wasn't too happy, but he was very understanding and nice. i'm just glad the quitting is over with. now i wish i didn't have to work there for the next two weeks, but oh well.
and since i had already run my errands, i got to arrive straight over to jorn's house and we had chicken patties for dinner. and jorn was so sweet--he took the bus to the grocery store to get cheese, so we would have cheese to put on our chicken sandwiches. and then we watched some pokemon together!
