1. If you were considering helping me move, an excellent day to plan on doing it would be Sunday August 21. This is the day when we will be moving the large items. If you're effective at that sort of thing, we would love to have you.

2. If you're not so effective at moving large items, you can still help on Sunday, but you could also help on Saturday August 20. On Saturday, I'm hoping to move the kitchen and bathroom completely to the new apartment. This will entail packing and unpacking of dishes and food items, washing of dishes, etc.

3. We need to find a way to prop up our new kitchen cabinet about 3-4 inches off the floor. There is a fat lip/edge/thing that goes around the bottom of the kitchen wall and it prevents the cabinet from being flush against the wall. We need the cabinet to be flush against the wall so we can attach it to the wall, stabilizing it so we can stack drawers and a microwave on top of it. if you have ideas about kitchen cabinet maneuvering or stabilization, please share them. You can come over to the new apartment sometime this week, take a look at the issue, and help us fix it. (Amy, is your similar cabinet attached to the wall for stability? I know you have lots of things stacked on it...)

4. Jorn needs a new desk. We looked at some at Target but those were all very complicated. He's looking for something that has a flat surface and some drawers underneath. Very basic. We also need a headboard and footboard for our bed. I'm kind of hoping for something with black or metal bars and swirlyness rather than basic wood. If you have such items to get rid of, or know someone who does, please hook us up. We have money and will pay for these things.

5. We are getting rid of a variety of computer equipment (all pretty old) and a ton of clothes. If you are interested in hearing about, seeing, or picking through any of the stuff we're getting rid of, leave me a comment. I would rather give the computer(s) to someone I know (who will reliably wipe the hard drive) rather than just dropping them at goodwill (where anybody could buy the thing).
