Lost got lost

Hi everybody! Here's what I thought about last night's Lost episode... OH WAIT I DIDN'T GET TO WATCH LOST LAST NIGHT BECAUSE THEY PREEMPTED IT WITH THE FUCKING SOX GAME. IF I WANTED TO WATCH BASEBALL I'D TURN ON ESPN.

They did show Lost eventually--at 11:35pm. Who can stay up that late to watch an hourlong show? I taped it and will watch it tonight, hopefully, or else I'll take the tape to the beach with me and make my mom sit through it again. I have already called our local ABC station and left a strongly worded voicemail. I don't care if I live in Boston, the Sox are not all that important--there had to be some other channel showing the game. I hope they call me back and apologize profusely. I was so fucking pissed off last night, I can't even tell you.

Well, we didn't know it was going to happen until we were starting at the Sox game at 9:05 in disbelief, so by the time we would've gotten to your house we would've missed most of the show anyway. :/ Thanks for the offer, though. And I'll be happy to fill T in on what's going on! The first season is now out on DVD, so he could even rent it or netflix it. I'm glad we have a new convert, I love this show so much. :)

That's one annoying thing about living in an area where people think sports are more important than good TV.... Many episodes of Buffy were preempted for various sports. If I recall correctly, Once More With Feeling didn't air as scheduled in our area because of a basketball game. Who the fuck watches basketball?

I'd be interested to know that too. I was angry enough to go to the website and find a phone number so I could complain; I don't know how many others in town would be that upset instead of just vaguely annoyed or something.
