I thought this was the coolest book ever when I was a kid: it involves the intersection of ancient Egypt, space travel, and the lost city of Atlantis, which made it SO AWESOME. Rereading it again as a grownup, I can't believe I ever thought the storyline was plausible, but it's still a fun read for a kid. Especially a kid in her archaeology-obsessed phase (which began when I was, like, 6 and so far hasn't ended).
