I got this at the book swap, and it was okay. It kept me wanting to read it, but it wasn't that great. Also, apparently this book didn't have a good proofreader, because "Caesar" kept being misspelled in different and interesting ways. I thought the book was odd because Bast (cat goddess of ancient Egypt) is battling with her dark sister Sekhmet (ditto), and Bast calls upon a Druid girl from ancient Gaul to save the Gaulish people from the Roman legions. But it's a pretty well-known historical fact that the Roman legions kicked the ass of ancient Gaul and made it part of their empire, so this poor girl is kind of doomed from the start. Good story, though.
