marshmellow bunny theft

I just discovered that one of the chocolate-covered marshmellow bunnies in my easter basket has been pilfered. The culprit carefully opened just the top of the wrapper, ate half the bunny, tucked it back in the wrapper, and neatly placed it back in the basket so it looked untouched. The creativity of my parents surprises and astounds me. Neither of them will admit to doing it.

You mean you get bunnies with the ears intact? The Easter Chipmunk has been a tradition in our family for many years. Imagine my nutty giggling when this year I needed to ravage TWO Easter Bunnies once I found out Emily felt a little left out when I sent her Easter Bunny intact last year. I did not want to defile her chocolate without her being comfortable with the idea but it seems she shyly made it known she did not want to be left out of our tradition when she received an entire bunny and Jesse received hers well munched. So I had lots of fun munching them both down to size this year!

AH! When you said half the bunny had been eaten for some reason all I could visualize was it being without ears. Being headless is just plain evil. Very funny evil though (chuckle).
