This was the perfect thing for me to read right now. It was first published in 1962 but a lot of it, most of it even, is still really applicable today. It made me feel capable and strong and independent. I'd like to lend it to Lauren but I don't know if she'd read it, she lives with her family and I doubt she'd want to carry a book with this title around the house.
