books 2006: Speaker for the Dead, by Orson Scott Card

Oh my god. So amazing. Unofficially the best book I've read so far this year, and it's book # 64. I liked it better than Ender's Game. Really, really good.

Is Xenocide worth reading? I'm very pleased with the place these characters have come to, so if things go bad in Xenocide, tell me and I won't read it. :)

I don't think that Xenocide is worth reading that much, but he did do a better job on the 4th book so you will need to read it if you want to continue.

I really like the Ender's Shadow set of books. They are more like Ender's Game but told from Bean's POV.

Oh yeah. Ender's Game and Speaker are fantastic. Xenocide is not quite of the same caliber, but I think it's still worth reading. Love that series!

it's been years since i've read those so i can't really sort out what plot points go where, but i've adored everything i've ever read in that series
