so apparently there's going to be some sort of ice storm down here or something. everyone's all freaked out, and the schools are closing early, and all kinds of things. even the office where i work is closing in about... 7 minutes.
i'm wondering if it's going to be a "real" storm or just the sort of thing that happens fairly regularly up north.
anyway, they (the weather people, i guess) are advising everyone not to drive unless there's an emergency. we'll see how it seems--maybe i'll be walking over to jorn's tonight.
maybe my class will be canceled.
what kind of cookies should i make for barbara's cookie party next week? i might try that new pumpkin cookie recipe i got from the SAI girls. or maybe i'll just do snickerdoodles or something.
