so i'm half an hour away from being finished with my current temp job at our state magazine. i'm taking phone orders right now (coincidentally, that's what i was always best at when i worked at boston market), and it hasn't been a bad week at all. i gave in my resume too, to be considered for a internship here hopefully. it's a nice magazine, especially just for being a local thing. it'd be good to work here and actually get some job experience.
and right after work, jorn and i are heading out on the road toward PA for the holidays. tonight we're going to get a hotel room somewhere between here and there (my mom said she'd pay!), and tomorrow i'll drop him off with his family, maybe stay for dinner, then drive the last two hours home to hatfield for a fun-filled and exciting holiday with the folks.
what was really, really exciting, though, was The Two Towers. it was good. i want to see it again and again and again. and i will. for now, i'm actually sated with LotRness; this movie has fulfilled my LotR need. for now.
anyway, maybe i'll find time to make a few posts over the holidays. if not, have a merry one, whatever one you celebrate.
