stupid, stupid

i was all excited about having a conference with christy this morning, but then i completely forgot about it on the way back from self defense class. so i went straight to work and skipped the conference and didn't remember till an hour and a half later. i was really dumb. and i was so excited, too, because i had poems to talk about with christy AND with stuart, and i wanted to have a conference with at least one of them this week so i could stay on top of things and now i'm all like idiotidiot and i won't be able to talk to christy till next week and grr. i need to get a lot of work done this weekend. i should stop having fun entirely and just get things done. and i was thinking about going up to SU next weekend to visit kari (while jorn is in boston), and now i'm thinking that's not such a good idea because i only have a few weeks till my reading and i'm totally not ready for it and i only need a small group of poems for the reading, not anywhere near to the amount i need for the actual thesis, and i'm all discouraged. i hate it when i'm stupid.
