I was so excited to read that! It makes me wonder how many more lost texts could be recovered that way... it was pretty common back then to scrape off old books to write new.
Now I'm imagining a remake of the song "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta", only with new words about how awesome it is to be a classicist. :)
