Jorn always used to accuse me of reading only books about prostitutes. Well, this one counts too. In 1900, our heroine, Charlotte, on her first outing after a prolonged illness, catches her husband kissing another woman. She leaves town and goes to stay at a special hotel for ladies, and she discovers that ladies get excellent service there, particularly from the handsome young male staff. It was a good book, but I kind of expected more. I'm planning to pass it on to my mom next.
