packing for Miami

I'm trying on various summer outfits, trying to decide what to wear for my business meetings in Miami Wednesday and Thursday. And godDAMN. I totally love my dark brown cotton pants. They're so long! And they have such nice wide bells on the bottom! I look so good in them. I'm thinking I'll wear them, with the white short sleeved shirt I bought to go under a suit. And my white ridiculous flower sandals that I wore to Annie's wedding. I like the ensemble.

I hope I have enough room in my suitcase for three pairs of sandals--these white ones, the black ones to go with my black skirt outfit for Thursday, and my favorite black flip flops to wear on the beach.

I need more brown and earth-tone jewelry. I've got tons of green, and enough navy and blues, but hardly any brown.

Packing put me in a much better mood. Tomorrow there will be sunshine!

I totally didn't pack appropriately when I went to Orlando the other week. I really had no concept of winter in the southern states. :P I wish I would have brought flip-flops instead of jeans.

just as a warning, south florida is expected to have scattered showers and partly cloudy for the rest of the week. the mornings have been slightly chilly, :for florida:, around the 50s. it gets hotter during the afternoon when it shoots up to 81. you might want to bring an umbrella. otherwise, its BEAUTIFUL here!
