Follow up to this post from the other day: my bulk mail folder is now at 397 messages. It's been less than 48 hours--less than 36 hours! Won't be long now until it hits 500.

I don't understand this! I don't get any spam in my yahoo mail, save once in a blue moon. Why do some people reportedly get swamped by it? Perhaps it's because my e-mail address is longer than average? (b l u e f o r k p a r a d e @ y a h o o), or perhaps because I make sure to opt out of 'free newsletters' and 'words from sponsors', etc.
