I just watched this week's episode.

Okay, first of all, I knew we shouldn't trust Juliet. God, that bitch! I wonder what Ben could be promising her to get her to do this. The submarine had already been destroyed when they had that conversation, so how could he be promising that she could go home? And that's really her main motivation, going home. So The Others must have some other way of getting off the island--maybe a way that Locke doesn't know about, since that's why he blew up the sub. Plausible, because it's not like The Others ever tell anyone anything.

An inconsistency in what Juliet said about the pregnancies: the French chick was pregnant on the island, carried to term, had a healthy child, and didn't die in the process. What does the French chick have that the Others women don't have? Or that Claire didn't have? Because I think that part might've true, where Ethan was injecting her with serum and the kidnapping was his decision. And obviously, Ben knew that the French chick had a healthy pregnancy, considering he adopted her stolen child. Did he tell this to Juliet?

I'm still pissed off about the Others in general, and Ben in particular. Why is he such an incredible bastard? What kind of person is he, that he could see a plane crash and his first thought isn't "There might be survivors, let's help them" but instead is "There might be survivors, let's infiltrate them"?

When I was watching this show with Jorn, he always had definite events that he wanted to see happen: first season, he wanted them to open the hatch, and second season, he wanted 1) Ana Lucia to die, and 2) them to stop pushing the button. I have never had any particular goals in mind for the show--I've pretty much been happy to let things unfold, as long as the unfolding occasionally includes footage of a shirtless Desmond or Sayid. But right now, I have goals.

I want to know what the fuck the deal is with the fucking Others.
And I want somebody to fucking kill Ben.
I would like for these things to happen before the end of this season.

There are some other things I would like to see too (like a French-chick-and-daughter reunion, and Bernard and Rose getting some air time for once, and Desmond doing something cool) but I'll be pretty satisfied if those two things happen.

i am with you dude. i don't understand how the whole damn show is Juliet central. just change the damn name of the show to "that bitch juliet gets too much airtime when we know you all just want to see rose and bernard".

i want juliet to die before ben. ben is interesting in a completely psychotic way...juliet pisses me off as soon as she walks onscreen.

also, why does jack have to be the big damn hero and protect juliet? he can't be that stupid, right?

i don't see ben dying before the series finale. he's been set up as the arch nemesis, so why would he disappear before the climax of the series? two seasons and a movie would be an awfully long denoument.

i agree there must be some other secret way off the island, and ben knows it (there's at least a sailboat out there, remember?). i'm really hoping next episode is going to cover locke and his father. looks like we've got about three more episodes of juliet coming, too, and there are only six left in the season (i'm more inclined to believe that the juliet as a spy thing will carry through to the end of the season). of course, with titles like "the man behind the curtain," and "through the looking glass," i think we have quite a few more twists and turns coming. maybe ben is a puppet (oz reference?). if so, yeah, i think he'll die by season's end. but i'm really starting to like ben as an antagonist. he's incredibly polarizing.

i was happy to see sawyer really care that jack was back. he's starting to soften up, which is giving his character some great depth. i think sayid might start an uprising soon, though. and it's going to end with jack feeling the full sting of betrayal, from more than one side.

here's what i want to see in the next six episodes:

locke will kill his father and subsequently be rebuked by the island.
juliet will attempt to kill jack, thus ending their fling.
desmond's woman makes some sort of contact.

man, it's getting GOOD.
