OK, all my LJ style issues are fixed now, and it's awesome and I can use the happy elephants joyfully.

s2expressive to ask if anyone knew what the problem was. One guy wrote back to say that he doesn't know what the deal is, but try disabling the "show scrollbars in entries" function, since he heard that could mess with IE. AND IT TOTALLY WORKED. I am so floored. WTF, how random is that. So, Amy, I guess that's what you have to do to see dates on my entries, if you care.
Anyway, now I've got dates on my entries, and I've got happy elephants, and I've got white space and dividers between my entries, and I even learned how to create a custom layer to make the date/time show the day of the week, which I'd been wanting for a while without knowing it was changeable. So I am a big success and today was totally cool.
Also, I went to Ann Taylor Loft on my lunch and bought cute new pants on sale for $20. Am I definitely going to wear them to the bachelorette? No. Do I feel better after some shopping therapy? Yes.
