Full title: High 5ive: An Anthology of Fiction from Ten Years of Five Points, edited by Megan Sexton. Yeah, so apparently I signed up for a free subscription to Five Points at AWP and had completely forgotten, so I was darned surprised when I received this in the mail. I finished the book yesterday evening on the train after spending at least a month now working my way through it, reading one story at a time, because the stories in this collection are typically so powerful that I didn't want to read more than one in a sitting--and I was usually on the train reading this, and I didn't have time for more than one story, and I usually was just reading stories in between reading novels. But, more importantly, the stories were very good. Most of them really touched me in some way, or disturbed me. I've been working on the book for a month now, though, so I can't really remember if I had any favorites. Overall, those of you who also signed up for free subscriptions, I highly recommend reading this anthology.
